Margie Ray Prestwood was born on Tuesday, April 18th 1922 to her parents, Herman and Winnie Folley in Dickens, Texas; she died Friday, October 25th 2019, at age 97. Margie is survived by her daughter Linda and her step-children Robert, Marlene and Joie, her 14 grandchildren, over 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Margie was a wife, a beloved mother – great and grand to many, a homemaker and a business woman. She spent the later part of her childhood in Linden, California picking cherries and walnuts and celebrated the love of her life - Bob, by dancing with him onstage at the county fair. There is not enough paper, nor enough words that can describe the type of woman Margie was; she was fun yet proper, old-fashioned yet open minded, and practical yet adventurous. She is forever etched onto our hearts and her legacy is one to be admired. We love you mom, we miss you, and we can’t wait to see you again!
