Marion Elizabeth “Betsy” Lane, 99, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, of natural causes. She was born on December 16, 1926, in McKeesport Pennsylvania, the daughter of Adam and Marion Worrall Stevenson. She was an original homeowner in the Mission Village neighborhood of San Diego, having bought the house in 1958 with her husband Robert, the owner of Lane’s Radio and TV Service. Betsy worked for the San Diego Unified School District Instructional Aid Distribution Center for over 20 years. Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, sisters Mary Jane and Ruth Ann, and is survived by three children, Marianne of San Diego, David (Debby) of Idaho, and Mark (Carolyn) of Temecula, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, as well as three nieces.
