Mary Etta Branch

Mary Etta Branch passed away March 3, 2012, at the age of 81. Mary Etta was born on September 7, 1930 in San Diego, CA. She moved to Tucson seven years ago and will be returning to San Diego to be laid to rest next to her husband's side. Mary went to San Diego High School and graduated in 1948. She married Ken in 1950 and they spent 50 years together as husband and wife until Ken's death in 2001. Mary worked most of her life in food service at sporting events which she loved. You could find Mary working at the San Diego Stadium during the baseball and football seasons. You could also find her at Torrey Pines feeding the golfers during tournaments. She was an avid bowler until her eyes failed her. Mary was a people person and just loved life. Mary Etta is survived by three children: Jeannie Burger (Branch), Shirley Branch-Iezzi (Paul) and Richard Arthur Branch (Leanne); three grandchildren: Quirina, Justin and Alex, and one great-grandson, Tommy. Funeral services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary Chapel of the Last Supper in San Diego on Saturday, March 10th, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name for the Tucson facility, to Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation, 717 N.
