
Mary was born in Portland, Oregon to parents Bertha and Joseph Frawley on Sept. 11, 1932. She was pre-deceased by her parents and brother Allen Frawley, and had lived in the Allied Gardens area for the last 47 years.
She is survived by two children, daughter Kim Chambers, and son Michael Fowler, and son-in-law Brian Chambers and daughter-in-law Maria Vidal Fowler. Also, 5 grandchildren, Amy Chambers, Erin Smith and her husband Jenner Smith, Joseph Chambers, Michael Joseph Fowler, and Mia Fowler; and two great-grandsons, Jackson Smith and Ben Smith.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Marylhurst University in 1954.
Mary was an elementary school teacher for the San Diego Unified School District for several years, and a sales associate for Robinson-May department store for nearly 20 years.
In retirement, she enjoyed many years spent with family and friends.
