

where his dad was involved with an import / export business.
Mike had 2 younger brothers, and a sister. When the boys were older, they decided to immigrate to the U.S. for a better future.
Upon their arrival in 1957, they decided to join the U.S. army, in order to get better acquainted with the American way of life.
Mike was 22, Richard 21, and Bert 19. Mike and Bert were sent to serve in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Upon finishing his military service in 1961, Mike found employment in the International Dept. of Continental Bank, in Chicago.
He subsequently sponsored his parents and sister to join him there. Mike pursued a major in business, and was involved in various business ventures.
Mike and Denise met in Chicago, and were married in Staten Island in 1963. They were blessed with 3 children: Michele, Andre
and Monique. The family moved to California in 1972, for a better climate! They were later blessed with 4 grandchildren: Zack, Renee,
Raya and Nina. And most recently, with a great grandson Aven!
Mike faithfully attended Sunday Mass, and served as an usher for quite a while. Later in life, he had a special devotion to our Lady.
He enjoyed playing tennis and dancing, and getting together with family and friends.
Mike was always a positive and happy person, who delighted in telling humorous jokes.
Ultimately, he loved and enjoyed life!
