Nestor C. Quihuis passed away on October 17, 2010 of COPD and congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife Margarita; his children Margarita, Olga, Irene and Rita; his grandchildren Alexander, Cameron, Brendan, Ian and Benjamin; his sons-in-law Robert and David; his brother Refugio and his sister Mercedes. VIsitation 10/25 5-8 pm at Merkley Mitchell Mortuary. Services will be held 10/26 10 am at St. John of the Cross in Lemon Grove followed by a graveside service with military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery. Lunch reception begins at 1pm at the La Mesa Recreation Center Cottage. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nestor Cordova Quihuis Memorial Fund at the Hispanic Scholarship Foundation.
