Also his obituary will be online at: www.sorrentovalleychapel.com under Ngoc Huu Pham in the search part of Obituary. There you can view and leave a message for his family. Mr. Pham was born March 22, 1933 in Hanoi, Vietnam. When he officially moved to the United States around 1975-1976, he met his wife Tan Thi Tran and got married in 1976 in San Diego, California. On September 26, 1977, the couple had their only son Jimmy-Tu Ngoc Pham. Mr. Pham was employed as a social worker at San Diego County where he worked his whole career prior to retirement. Mrs. Pham unfortunately passed away in 1987 so Mr. Pham along with his son lived together before Mr. Pham remarried around 1998 to his second wife Ngan Thi Le. So the three were all together until 2009 when Mr. Pham’s second wife unexpectedly passed away. It was a tough time for the family, but father and son stayed strong nevertheless, spending time with each other, traveling together, and living life to its fullest. It was just the two of them, but it was always an adventure and they enjoyed every step of the way. In 2013, Mr. Pham had the honor to be a grandfather, when his son Jimmy welcomed grandson Jakob-Tai Lorenzo Pham into the world. This was and forever will be the happiest time for Mr. Pham’s life. Although it was a short time with his grandson, he will forever remember the moment he got the chance to be a grandfather and that’s what his wish was before leaving this earth. Mr. Pham is survived by his son, Jimmy Pham along with his grandson Jakob-Tai Pham.
