Patricia Ann Hogan

October 27, 1941 – May 8, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister Patricia (Patti) Ann Hogan, who was taken from us on May 8, 2025, in Carlsbad, California, at the age of 83. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with Patti’s kind heart, radiant smile, and generosity. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Lester Hogan and mother Josephine Rosalie Hogan. She is survived by her twin brother Ron, brother Todd, sister Dianne, sister and brother-in-law’s, nephews and nieces.

Patti and her twin brother Ron were born October 27, 1941, at Mercy Hospital in San Diego and had the distinction of being the first twins born in that hospital. She spent her childhood growing up in Pacific Beach until she was a teenager when the family move to Solana Beach in1955. She graduated from San Dieguito High School in 1959 and then attended Palomar College. She began her career in the early 1960s working for Haden, Stone investment firm in La Jolla as Head Wire Operator. It was during this time she became one of the original Charger Girls for the San Diego Chargers professional football team. She continued her career working as an administrative secretary in health care before moving on to Kyocera Corporation as an Executive Assistant where she retired in 2004.

Patti was a strong independent person who was generous and kind in life and always there to help her family and friends including living with and caring for her father for many years before his passing. She was friendly to everyone and very social including being a member for many years of the Red Hat Society.

Patti will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Burial services will be held at El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley & Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
