Patrick was born in National City, California on August 18, 1932, to his parents Michael Sciarra and Anna Inga. He graduated from San Diego High School in 1951 and received an associate degree from San Diego Jr. College, with an Associate In Arts.

He was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War Infantry Division as a Corporal.

He was a meatcutter/butcher for 43 years and raised his four children in San Diego, CA.

He was a Christian man and believed in the lord, he raised his children in the Catholic Church and provided them with a good education in a private school.

He loved his family more than anything and would do whatever he needed to do for them. One of his legacy/values he has left is, family is the most important, stand together, stand strong, support each other with kindness and love. He showed this with his actions and words, passing this onto his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. His favorite songs were by Frank Sinatra, and he sounded just like him when singing his songs. He performed in hospitals for the patients, did some plays and sang at some local piano bars in San Diego. His grandchildren were honored when he sang at their weddings. He was loved by all, anyone that met him talked about how kind and sweet he was. He had a godliness about him. He wore his favorite lapel pin everyday of the year (Jesus is the reason for the season).

Our family is privileged and honored to call him our father, dad, friend, mentor, as he always stood by us no matter what the situation, through the highs and lows of life.

A celebration of his life will be held in a private service at El Camino Memorial Park
