
Ramon, aka Mon, was born August 31, 1939, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to Bernardo and Isidra De Peralta. There in the Philippines, he was raised by his mother and father. Ramon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Finance in the Philippines. After earning his BA, he worked for 15 years in the BIR. He also worked for the Commission of Elections (COMELEC) for two years. Ramon held a full-time job at Security National Bank while working on his BA. Once he relocated to America, Ramon began rebuilding his life.
Ramon is survived by his wife, Coring De Peralta; six children, JoJo, Nelson, Jonel, Adonis, Ramon Jr., and Venus; has 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted father, son, and grandson who placed family first in his heart and actions. The friends he left behind will know what a special place they had in his heart and life. Ramon was a Church of the Resurrection member and a Third-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Aside from spending time with family and friends, Ramon had many hobbies. He enjoyed playing card games, playing slots at the casino, completing word searches, and fishing, to name a few.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Wednesday, January 11, from 10 am- 12 pm. The Celebration of Life will immediately follow at noon. Both events will occur at El Camino Memorial Funeral Home, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121.
