Reynaldo “Rey” Garcia Rondero passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Temecula Valley Hospital. Rey was born on August 21, 1956 in Olongapo, Philippines to Geronimo and Gertrudes Rondero. On March 28, 1978, he married Everlyn Rondero. Together, Rey and Everlyn raised five children, all of whom survive; Maribel, Ronald, Rosanne, Jennifer, and Leilani. Rey is also survived by one grandchild, Kailana Rim. He served in the U.S. Navy for 19 years, and continued to serve our country for another 20+ years as part of the US Postal Service. He was a resident of Temecula, California.
Rey was a wonderful man who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His life will be remembered and celebrated with two evening viewings that are planned for Sun, Feb. 28, 2016 and Mon, Feb. 29, 2016, beginning at 3 p.m. at McLeod Mortuary. His mass service is planned for Tues, Mar. 1, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Airman Memorial Chapel, and interment service following at 2 p.m. at the Miramar National Cemetery.
