Robert John Greiner Jr. passed away at the age of 67 on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in San Diego, California. He was born on February 13, 1951 in Eugene, Oregon. “Bob” grew up in a military family that took him to many different states throughout his childhood. As a young adult, he settled in Hawaii and began working as a radio personality. At 31 he moved to Roseville, California and continued his radio career having many of his own prime time radio shows. After almost 40 years in the radio industry, Bob retired and moved to San Diego in 2014 to be near his two children. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching his son play college volleyball, following politics, analyzing the stock market, hanging out with his dog Houdini, watching crime shows and listening to music. His Brother Thomas Greiner, Father, Robert J. Greiner Sr. and Mother Yolande Greiner precede him in death. Bob is survived by his Sister, Lou-Anne Greiner of Cannes, France, Daughter, Shana Martinez, Son, Michael Greiner, Grand Daughters, Tori and Carli Martinez, and Son-in-law, Eric Martinez, all of San Diego. Bob was loved by his family and will be missed. He was a free spirit and lived life his way. Rest in peace. A memorial service will be held at El Camino Memorial Park on Saturday, May 19th at 10:30am.
