Sebastian C. Lagrimas

Sebastian was born February 12,1930 in the Philippines. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led to him to proudly enlist in the Philippine Airforce at the age of 17. It was an honor for him to serve his country. Sebastian was a talented musician and an exceptional trumpet player. He was also a natural athlete who enjoyed basketball, swimming and bowling.

Sebastian married Esther Felizardo on January 6, 1955. They became proud parents to their children Herminia, Elizabeth, and Ariel. After retiring in 1975, Sebastian helped to raise his grandchildren which brought him immeasurable amount of joy. During retirement, Sebastian became more active in the church as a member of Knights of Columbus. Together with his beloved wife Esther, they helped to form Lord of Pardon prayer groups.

Esther preceeded Sebastian in death in 1996. He is survived by his three children; daughter, Herminia Santos; daughter, Elizabeth Songco; son, Ariel Lagrimas; along with 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sebastian will be remembered for his fun loving personality, many talents, and unconditional love.

He will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by his family and many friends who knew him throughout his lifetime.

A visitation for Sebastian will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8200 Gold Coast Dr, San Diego, CA 92126.

A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.
