She married Donald E. Hollensbe, Sr. on December 7, 1953. The couple had four children, Rex A. Hollensbe (Alvina), Donald E. Hollensbe, Jr. (Jan), Lance Hollensbe (Maureen) and Wendy Hollensbe Harris (Paul).
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents, John and Irene and sister Jackie Shankle.
Shirley is survived by her sister Barbara Romanowicz, 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 1230pm to 200pm at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, Ca. 92121.
