Teresita Bagsic Dominguez

Teresita Bagsic Dominguez of San Diego, California passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on January 6, 1949, in Manila, Philippines where she grew in the care of her loving parents Anastacio Bagsic and Isabel Bagsic.

She graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines with a degree in Medical Technology. She came to the United States as an exchange student in 1969.

She started working around 1970 as a Medical Technologist in Detroit Michigan Hospital, moved to San Diego on 1973 started working at Mercy Hospital, and retired in 2018 at Scripps-Mercy Hospital.

She was actively involved in church, and environmental activities like gardening and tree planting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Anastacio Bagsic, Isabel Bagsic, and her brother; Rudolfo Bagsic.

She is survived by her spouse, Ferdinand Dominguez; son, Dominic Gerald Dominguez, and daughter-in-law Evangeline Dominguez; grandchildren, Frederick Matthew Dominguez, Francis Martin Dominguez, and Chaz Ezra Dominguez; and sibling, Lourdes B. Maravilla.

Teresita is a loving spouse, mother, and grandmother. She has dedicated her entire life, securing and nurturing her family.

The family would like to thank all the extended family, friends, and staff of Scripps Hospital for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Viewing will begin on November 19, 2025, 4-8 pm PST, at El Camino Memorial-Sorrento Valley and Memorial Park.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 8200 Gold Coast Dr, San Diego, CA on November 20, 2025 at 11:00am.

Interment to follow on November 20, 2025, 1:15 pm PST at Miramar National Cemetery located at 5795 Nobel Dr. San Diego, CA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Banquet at Natsumi Sushi and Seafood Buffet on November 20, 2025, at 2 pm PST at 7040 Marimar Rd, San Diego, following the burial.
