Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Coach, and Friend
May 30, 1965 – October 13, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas, a devoted husband, proud father of three incredible sons, Todd, Zachary, and Trevor, and beloved tennis coach in the Pacific Beach community. He left us far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and leadership that touched the lives of so many.
Tom was more than just a coach—he was a mentor, a motivator, and a true role model. On the courts of Pacific Beach, his passion for tennis was matched only by his passion for people. He nurtured not just skills, but spirits, helping generations of players believe in themselves both on and off the court.
At home, Tom was the heart of his family—a steadfast husband and a guiding light to his three sons, whom he raised with unwavering love and strength. As a grandfather, (Tom Tom) his eyes lit up with pride and joy, always ready with a smile, a story, or a gentle word of encouragement.
His kindness was quiet but powerful, his humor subtle yet unforgettable. Whether you knew him for years or met him only once, you felt his warmth. He was the kind of person who made you feel seen, valued, and cared for.
The Pacific Beach community mourns the loss of a man who gave so much of himself to others. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will forever echo in the laughter of his grandchildren, the strength of his sons, the love of his wife, and the grateful memories of every player he coached.
Rest in peace, Tom. You were taken too soon, but your love lives on in all of us.
