Tingjian was born on December 21, 1937 in Kaiping, Guangdong Province, China. Graduated from Taishan No.1 high school in 1957 and Taiyuan Institute of Technologies in 1962. He held many positions in heavy machinery & equipment design and engineering management. Tingjian got married with Aihua Ou in Taiyuan in 1968 and had a son and a daughter. Tingjian retired as chief engineer and general manager from his position in 1997. Tingjian immigrated to US for family reunion with their son and daughter in 2006 and baptized on June 24, 2007. Many sweet memories were shared with their children and grandchildren.
Tingjian had passion on swimming, running, hiking and various other sports. In the past, he participated in many San Diego 5K road race events.
An outdoor graveside service for Tingjian will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. A burial will occur at El Camino Memorial Park.
