January 6, 1932 – March 27, 2025
Victoria Ann Clement, a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the heart of her family, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, with her husband of 73 years by her side.
Born on January 6, 1932, in Brewer, Maine, to Morton Eugene Danforth and Gertrude Campbell Ames, Victoria—known to many as Vicki—was the cherished matriarch of a close-knit family that meant everything to her.
She attended Brewer High School, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Andrew “Andy” Clement. Together, they embarked on a lifelong journey in the United States Navy community. As a military wife, Vicki faced the challenges of long deployments, frequent moves, and raising four young children with strength, grace, and a steady heart. Her resilience and care held the family together through every chapter.
Vicki found joy in painting, sewing, playing cards, and especially shopping with her grandchildren. Her creativity, humor, and quiet strength were ever-present and deeply felt by all who knew her.
A longtime resident of San Diego, California, Victoria is survived by her loving husband Andrew Clement; her children Gary Clement, Sandra Clement, Pamela Clement Roxborough, and Kimberly Clement Howell; her eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, Michael Danforth. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister.
A graveside service will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Miramar National Cemetery, where Victoria will be laid to rest with honor and love.
She will be remembered always for the life she built, the love she gave, and the family she led.
