Viet-Thai Do

A caring, passionate, and protective brother and uncle, he was a lover of music, playing violin and guitar. As a teenager, he would organize small concerts at the family’s home in Saigon for the family to dance the night away.

After he began his studies at the University of Liege in Brussels, he became a mentor to many of his fellow students. He also continued to display his passion for bringing people together by organizing social events for the foreign students.

After graduating from University of Liege, he began his 34+ year career as an IT Program Analyst (computer engineering), and eventually settled in Sacramento, CA.

Viet-Thai is survived by his 3 children: Kim-Mai Magali Do (daughter, 45), Alain Do (son, 42), and Nam-Viet Do (son, 30).

A visitation for Thai will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Beardsley-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd, San Diego, California 92107, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
