Douglas, David (Nora), Dawn Krautner (Jim), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Walter A and Donna S Nicoll, parents, Bruce, Thomas, and Donna C. Nicoll, his brothers and sister, and, Elizabeth Charters, grandchild.
Graduated from Warwick High School, NY, June 1956, where he met his wife Caroline Crover. They were married April 6, 1958.
Entered the Navy July 1956, Retired October 7th, 1976, volunteered as Assistant Scoutmaster Boy Scouts, worked for Poway Unified School District 1977-1998, earned his Pilot's License, taught Vocational Education, volunteered as an Usher at St. Michael's Poway, volunteered as a Range Master. Walter loved flying, and sharing his love of aircraft while volunteering as a Docent for the Marine Corps Air Museum, Miramar.
