Maria J. Martin was born on November 24, 1918 in Jalisco, Mexico to her father Cecilio Martinez and her mother Narcisa Barajas both from Jalisco, Mexico. Maria passed away on September 12, 2012 in her residence in San Fernando, California surrounded by her family and loved ones. Funeral arrangements are being handled by her daughters Josefina Prellezo and Maria Del Carmen Gonzalez thru Funeraria Del Angel J.T. Oswald in San Fernando, California. A visitation is scheduled to take place on Monday September 17, 2012 at the mortuary chapel from 4-8:30 pm. A catholic service will he held on Monday night at 7:00 pm directed by Padre Raul Cortez. Maria J.Martin will be cremated at a later date and her cremated remains will be going to the family's residence before planning an inurnment some time in the near future where she will be placed to rest.
