Anna C. Yang

With deep sorrow we announce that Anna C. Yang returned home at the end of March 2026. In her 77 years on earth, she dedicated herself to helping and caring for others, as well as to a continual development of the soul. Anna leaves a legacy of love, beauty, and connection that will continue to comfort and inspire.

Always identifying herself as a nurse, she evolved in her professional life in alignment with her studies and interests: from working night shifts at UCSF as an R.N. to creating Stelle Fleur Institute, her entrepreneurial practice, and developing a retreat center in Mt. Shasta. In her holistic approach to healing and wellness, Anna integrated many modalities that she had diligently studied, including reiki, flower essences, and essential oils.

She saw her life’s work as "uplifting, nurturing, and empowering women so their souls could blossom.” After earning her masters degree in Women’s Spirituality from the California Institute for Integral Studies, she co-founded and served as Executive Director for the Red Web Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to menstrual health education & cutural change.

Spirituality was central to Anna’s life, particularly after she became a labyrinth facilitator and educator through Veriditas then at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral. She found additional fulfillment in making art, appreciating nature, and fostering community, particularly through her involvement with the Rotary Club of San Francisco West.

A lifelong learner, she loved to explore both new and familiar destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. She also made many trips to spend time with extended family in Hong Kong and Hawaii, which became a truly special place for her.

Loved ones Anna is now reunited with include her parents; her brother, Scott; and her beloved husband, Dr. Frank S. Yang. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia & Christina, as well as by her two brothers, David and Bruce, and many other family, friends, and community members who will always remember her for the loving caregiver she was.

A celebration of life will be held at Unity San Francisco on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12 PM. More information is available at LoveForAnnaYang.com, as are suggested organizations for memorial donations in lieu of flowers.

Anna’s family is grateful for the support they have received during her relatively brief illness, during which she was cared for at home with great devotion by her daughters, as well as during this difficult time. It is heartening to hear that memories of her consistently honor her warmth, laughter, and kindness.
