The family moved to San Francisco when Cam was a young child. She attended Lincoln High School & was a member of Rainbow Girls.
Cam had a career with BofA for 46 years where she met her lifetime best friend, Arlene (Sue) Lewis, Patricia Hom & long distance Georgia friend, Jane Dillon, among many other friends & colleagues along the way.
Her dear neighbors at 1516 Lombard who watched over her during her declining years, I personally thank you for helping her be able to stay in her apartment for as long as she was able.
Cam’s best friend, Sue Lewis, predeceased her in 2015 and Cam’s husband, George Darr, predeceased her in 2020.
Always with a ready smile and a big heart, Cam will be missed by all who knew her and we rejoice that she touched our lives in so many ways.
Cam was a patron of local artists and artisans, attending many street fairs & Harvest Festivals. She was a member of the Asian Art Museum and the San Francisco Symphony Chamber Music Series.
A gathering of friends at the San Francisco Columbarium, 1 Loraine Court, in late November or early December to celebrate her life will be posted at a later time.
