Dennis Carl Roberts was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a long time resident of Pacifica, California. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, who served in Vietnam and later completed undergraduate and graduate studies at San Francisco State and California State University, East Bay.
During the mid-1970s he was active in veterans affairs in San Francisco, providing counseling and coordination of several employment and training programs. He later held a variety of management staff positions with the City and County of San Francisco. Subsequently he provided management advisory services for start-ups and small companies.
He was an avid tennis player and jazz buff. He is survived by his daughter Erinn, partner Janice, cousin Yul Sr. and a host of relatives and friends.
