Jean Capra Duncan

Passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was a second generation San Franciscan married to her neighborhood sweetheart Robert Capra for over 30 years. Jean was the first in her family to attend college and she went on to become a successful real estate agent. She later married Tom Duncan and they happily spent the next 30 years traveling the world. She was a loving mother to Denise Capra Young (Mark) and Chris Capra Fitzsimons (Dennis); proud grandmother of Matthew (Destine) and Kevin Fitzsimons and Willie and Em Young. Jean was a happy member of Tom's family of 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her sister Marilyn Sobrano (Don) and survived by her sister Kathy Kalinin (Ron) and her brother Nick Andresen (Annette).

Friends are welcome for visitation from 4 to 8PM, Monday, 1/16/17 with Vigil Service at 7PM and the Funeral Service 10AM, Tuesday, 1/17/17, at HALSTED N. GRAY – CAREW & ENGLISH, 1123 Sutter St., SF. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
