Radmila M. Boyovich

Passed away at her home in Albany on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Mirash Boyovich; Mother of Alex and Vera Boyovich. Grandmother to Jenna and Alexander Boyovich. Loving daughter of the late Milan and Jelena Jurisevic; devoted sister of the late Svetozar Jurisevic.

Radmila was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia on November 19, 1924. She was recently in contact with her long-lost family in Belgrade whom she spoke to often. "DUDA," as she was affectionately known, will always be remembered as a woman of strength and character. Her strong faith in God carried her through her immigration to America and all through her life.

"Millie" was an adored friend to many. She was elegant and proud of her Serbian heritage. A kind and gentle soul, she always showed compassion and generosity to all who knew her. She never failed to help those in need or less fortunate than herself.

Friends are welcome for visitation from 4PM to 8PM, Friday with Pomen service at 7PM at HALSTED N. GRAY – CAREW & ENGLISH, 1123 Sutter Street, SF. Funeral Service will be at 10AM, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, Turk & Baker Sts., SF with interment following at Serbian Cemetery, Colma.
