He was the son of the late Rose (McHugh) and Peter D. Redmond; brother to Thomas (the late Sissy), William (Terry) and Gerald (Molly);Uncle to Michael Redmond (Sharon), Cindy Kent (Steve), Colleen Dietterle (Sean), Thomas (fiancée Nicola) and Kellie Redmond; granduncle to eight.
Bob, a San Francisco native, was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He graduated from Archbishop Riordan High School and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from San Francisco State University. He retired as a manager from AT&T.
Bob was a loving, kind and thoughtful gentleman.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation at 9:45 am followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 17, SS Peter & Paul Church, 666 Filbert St. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.
