This is Sandy in a conga line with my Mom Phyllis behind her. A very special memory. My Mom passed in 2011. Taken at Regional 2001 in Newport Beach.

I also met Sandy through NAIW.  My first memory of her was when she encouraged me to run for state director, the meeting to be held in SF.  As we prepared for the meeting she could often be found at a fundraising table, and told me, "I'm just an old peddler." She worked hard for the organization, often behind the scenes. Her stories were wonderful and she was also a historian, writing articles for the newsletter reminiscing about some of the famous people  (you'd be amazed) they got to be guest speakers.  I was one of the many she mentored, and I will miss her and her laugh.

Sandy was one of the first people I met when I joined NAIW. She was my mentor and cheer leader since the late 90s.   Her smile and her amazing stories always brought smiles to everyone else.  I'll miss her greatly.

When I first met Sandy, I was new to the Insurance Organization we both belonged to.  She sought me out and asked me to sit with her at a meeting and a great friendship was developed.  We shared a love of Jazz music and we always laughed a lot every time we saw each other.  I loved to hear her stories as much as she loved telling them.   She was a very special lady and I have a hole in my heart.   Have fun in heaven Sandy with all your friends.

Was much more than Family, she was my girlfriend, she was my encouragement, she was my listening ear. Although there was more than a 20-year age difference. We always connected on so many levels both very independent working single women that loved to have fun and enjoy a glass of wine with dinner (or for Sandy a Scotch) 
We Loved Spoiling ourselves  cuz We deserve it!!
 and Hey No Mans  steppin up! Lol
I miss our Fun Times and Laughs already so much! That last day we were singing Hallelujah together as the Harp Volunteer played for us at you bedside, you were so happy, no pain... I'll never forget it!
I'm so Happy we both have a Christian strong Faith, 
So, I know we will see each other again in Gods Time. RIP
