Dolores Sepulveda, who was also known as Lola, Dee, Mom, Grandma and Nana, was born on February 1, 1933 in the City of Los Angeles, California and was one of seven children.
As a young girl, Dolores cared for her family in many ways and that’s when she met the love of her life, Robert Sepulveda.
As an adult, Dolores was a wonderful wife and mother, caring grandmother and loving great-grandmother. She was also ‘Mom’ and ‘Nana’ to so many friends of the family.
Dolores was very involved with the Special Olympics and traveled with her son, Steven, for National and International events. She devoted a great deal of time to helping persons with special needs.
Though she did not gamble often, she was a very lucky gambler. She made trips to Laughlin, Nevada and would always return one happy lady.
Dolores developed a love for ceramics later in life. She spent many nights creating beautiful pieces which she would give to family and friends. This made her very proud. She also had a love for carousels.
Dolores was strong beyond words! Her heart belonged to our father, Robert Sepulveda, and her family. Dolores’ love for her family was immeasurable. She has raised and help raise countless children in her life. There was an abundance of love and support to go around.
Dolores was preceded in death by her mother Clotilde “Tillie” and brother Greg. She is survived by her husband Robert, seven children Emily, Patricia, Lawrence, Rudy, Steven, Daniel and Anna, sisters Joyce, Vicky, Lydia, Gloria and brother Manuel, sixteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Our loss is heaven’s gain.
