In Loving Memory of our Dad, Estanislao Ybarra Flores, September 27, 1923 – October 18, 2013. Born in Austin, Texas, he moved his family in 1964 to Los Angeles, CA, and resided in the City of Alhambra. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Ramirez Flores, daughters Alice Marie, Yolanda, Bertha, Herlinda, Patricia and Rose Marie; son Daniel; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased daughter Mercedes who died of leukemia at age 10. He was the only surviving son of the late Estanislao and Santiaga Ybarra Flores.

Estanislao, also known as E.R. or E.Y., had formed the E.R. Flores Orchestra in his early 20’s, and was a well-known trumpet player in Austin, Tx, playing a variety of music including big band sounds. He worked in the printing business in Austin and then in City of Commerce, CA until his retirement. We will truly miss our dad and will keep him in our hearts forever.

Memorial Service will be held on October 26, 2013, 11:30 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary, 1136 E. Las Tunas Dr., San Gabriel, CA 91776.
