Noruato Gutierrez

Noruato Gutierrez was born on March 25, 1946, in Santa María Jajalpa, a small town in the State of Mexico. At the age of 16, he left his hometown and traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico, where he lived for six years in search of his destiny. At the age of 22, he moved to California where he met the love of his life, Elva. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three children.

Nato was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A man of deep faith and a devout Marian at heart, he lived a life full of purpose, love, and service. He was blessed to be a godfather to over 40 godchildren—an honor he cherished.

For many decades, Nato worked at the Grand Central Market, where he formed lifelong friendships and became a beloved member of the community. His presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. An enthusiastic supporter of Las Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara, Nato proudly wore their jersey and never missed a chance to watch a game.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elva; his children, Nancy, Danny, and Johnny; and his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Juan Pablo, Danny Jr., and Elijah. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and an unforgettable spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, his smile, and his unwavering love will never be forgotten.

Noruato Gutierrez nació en Santa Maria Jajalpa, un pueblo en el Estado de México. A la edad de 16 años, dejó su casa con rumbo a Guadalajara donde vivió por 6 años. A la edad de 22 años y con un sueño de buscar un mejor futuro llegó a California. Fue durante este tiempo que conoció al amor de su vida su esposa Elva y juntos construyeron una hermosa vida y familia.

Nato fue un gran esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Un hombre de fe y con un corazón Mariano. Devoto de la Santa Patrona de su pueblo, La Natividad de Maria. Tuvo la dicha de tener más de 40 ahijados/as.

Por muchos años Nato trabajó en el Grand Central Market donde construyó muchas amistades duraderas. Su gran corazón y gentileza llenó de alegría a muchos. Nato fue un “Chivista” de corazón. No se perdía ningún juego, ni la oportunidad de lucir sus playeras con mucho orgullo.

La memoria de Nato vivirá en los corazones de su Familia. Su esposa Elva, sus hijos Nancy, Danny y Johnny y 4 nietos que lo llenaban de amor y orgullo, Jacqueline, Juan Pablito, Danny Jr y Elijah. Deja un legado de bondad, generosidad y un espíritu inolvidable. Siempre vivirá en los corazones de su familia y amigos.
