

He was born on November 3, 1969, in Los Angeles, California, and he grew up in Lincoln Heights and attended Lincoln High School.
Ray worked as a Security Guard, Taxi driver, Access Driver for the disabled, Dispatcher, Uber driver, and Lyft driver. He studied Early Childhood Education, Graphic Arts, Accounting, Welding, and Barbering.
He was actively involved in his hobbies, such as flying his drone, traveling on road trips, Graphic arts, Music, and playing guitar and other creative outlets.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Celia Cazares Valencia and his younger brother Aldo.
He is survived by his life partner June, his daughter Jessica, his son-in-law Zachary, granddaughter Luna, grandson Shane, his sister Patricia and her children, Jaime, Carlos, and Cindy, and grandchildren. He is also survived by the Meyer family and his aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Ray was a supportive loving partner to June and extended his caring ways to her family. He was a devoted Son, Father, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Brother, Son in Law, and friend. He was compassionate, patient, kind, and always helpful. His love, smile, laugh, and humor will be greatly missed, especially by those who loved him dearly.
