

Varsanik Ann Agopian, age 96, passed away on April 12, 2026. Born on November 20, 1929, in Armenia, Ann later resided in Los Angeles, California, and will be remembered with deep respect and sincere gratitude for a life marked by steadiness, dignity, and devotion to family and community.
For 25 years, Ann served as an office manager at the DMV, a role carried out with quiet professionalism and consistent care. Through years of dedicated work, Ann earned the regard of those who came to rely on that dependable presence and conscientious attention to detail.
Ann spent the first quarter of life in East LA, and lived in Alhambra for most of life with husband Gallo Agopian. where they raised their family. Alhambra remained a very special place to her—rich with community and soul—and it was there that Ann’s daily life reflected a lasting respect for neighbors, routine, and the meaning of home.
Ann loved to quilt blankets, a patient and thoughtful craft that became a lasting expression of care. Those quilts, passed on to grandchildren after passing, remain a tangible reminder of warmth given freely and remembered with gratitude.
Ann was married to deceased husband Gallo Agopian, and was also preceded in death by daughter, Leann Anderson. Ann is survived by son David Agopia, and six granddaughters; Mounia Muse, Sherine Agopian, Andrea Dicken, Gina Agopian-Vargas, Alisha Anderson, Sarah DeMartino. Ann is also remembered by sister Sylvia Potts, and Fatima Agopian.
A Funeral Service will be held at All Souls Church, 1500 W Main St, Alhambra, California 91801, on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770, US, on April 17, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
