grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and colleague who touched the lives of everyone he met. He
leaves behind siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were his ultimate
pride and joy. Mon’s passing has left a void in our lives that will never be filled but we can all
rest assured that his memory will live on in our hearts, memories, and the influences he left
with each of us.
Amonio was known for his infectious love for life, which made him an absolute joy to be around.
He was passionate about his many interests such as religion, politics, education, music, and
gardening (to name a few). He had a unique way of making everyone feel welcome and
included. All who knew him will surely miss his warm, calming, and inviting presence.
Mon’s large personality would never go unnoticed and easily made him the life of the party. He
was adored by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, which reflected how loved
and respected he was. Aside from his family, he was also loved and respected by countless
lifelong friends and colleagues.
Amonio was a man rooted in pride – a proud father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather,
a proud Catholic, a proud Filipino, and a proud American. He accomplished many things in his
life but his greatest achievement would be his family. His dedication and hard work inspired us
all, and we are all grateful for the time spent with him.
While we mourn Amonio’s passing, we can take comfort in the memories we shared with him.
He will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we will never forget how he impacted our
lives.
Rest in peace, Amonio. You will forever be sorely missed.
