Our beloved Ana Maria Morales, gave this life all she had, taking her last breath here on earth and her first breaths in Heaven on April 22nd, 2023. Ana was born in Aguililla, Michoacán, Mexico and was 75 years old. Ana was a caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Morales Sr., her sons Victor (and wife Maria Elena), Eugene Jr, Carlos, Robert, Danny, and her daughter Diana.
She is also survived by her siblings Aurelio Gonzalez, Miguel Gonzalez, Virginia Lopez, Josefina Furtado, as well as a large family base of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Ana was a loving grandmother to Victor Jr., Clarissa, Brianna, Savannah, Anahlyse, and was a proud great grandmother to Anthony, Elena Valentina, and Alexander.
Ana was a loving and generous woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved spending time in the kitchen where she would prepare amazing meals like Sopitos which was a favorite among family and friends. Ana would create entire feasts by herself like Thanksgiving dinners or up to twenty pounds of tamales with her radio always playing in the background.
Ana also loved tending to her roses, her entire front yard was filled with roses around the fence. She knew how to perfectly prune them so that they would continue to blossom and grow. Her roses were her pride, comfort, and neighbors would often compliment her on how beautiful she kept them.
Ana always had an open door to the house to welcome anyone coming to visit. Always taking the time to sit, listen, and offer support. Ana was always available to family, friends, and neighbors to offer a ride to or from appointments or sometimes just to run errands.
Many of us who visited her when she became ill would always be greeted with a warm hello and Ana was always more concerned with how we were doing making sure everything was ok. No matter how tired she felt she would always end the visit with a warm and meaningful, “I love you, take care of yourself.”
We are grateful to know she is finally at rest. The memory of her will be forever in our hearts. Our family appreciates your love and support during this difficult time.
Services will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
