Angela Poon of San Jose, California passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025 at the age of 83. She was a loving daughter, sister, and auntie (Guma, Yee Po) to many. She was a career bookkeeper who retired after 45 years with a family-owned business which helped transform fruit orchards in San Jose to electronics firms dotting Silicon Valley today. She is a faithful servant leader who humbly cares not only for her family but also for her friends and the greater community in need. Angela was an active member of Community Baptist Church of San Jose.
Angela is survived by her sister Myra, her nephew Mark and nieces Teri, Trisha and Janet, and 7 great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Poon, her parents Stella C Lee and Michael Lee, and by her brother Edwin B Lee.
The visitation will begin at 9:00am until the funeral service from 10:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, December 6, at the Chapel of the Oaks, Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose CA 95125.
