Our beloved sister, Angelica La Fountain, affectionately known as Angie, to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on May 23rd 2024, at the age of 78. Born on April 17, 1946 in Lima, Peru; she was the daughter of Eloida Isaacs and Alberto Tragsiel.
Angie's personal story was characterized by her determination to achieve what she put her mind into. Her strong will, confidence and independent personality brought her to the States in 1970. However, before making it to this country, Angie earned her Bacherlor's in Education and taught kindergarten for about 3 years.
Soon after moving to the States, she met Bruce, and on September 18th 1971, Angie and Bruce got married. Although, Angie and Bruce never had children, they cared
for a few adorable dogs throughout their marriage. Ajax, Muñeca, Paco and Coco were our sister's furry children.
Angie took pleasure in traveling and basking in the sun. Many of her travel destinations were to Mexico and Greece, where she was able not only to enjoy the sun but also shopping, which it was another of her favorite things to do.
Among the many sweet memories we have of our dear sister, there is one that stands out - her impeccable taste for decor and using her two favorite colors, white and blue. Among other hobbies, she had a vast knowledge in plants and, earned a certificate in Flower Arrangements. She made all the flowers arrangements for our sister Rosela's wedding.
Her dedication to her job as a Production Control Supervisor, was a reflection of her inner strength and motivated us all to do better.
Our dear sister's legacy will live with all of us vividly and, most of all, her generous heart towards everyone she knew.
Angie is survived by her siblings, Rodolfo, Maria Leonor, Jose, Liliana, Rosela and Martin, her niece's, Deborah, Carla, Piera, Tiffany, Daniela and Naomi, and her nephews, Omar, Renzo, Emmanuel, Sergio, Bret, Daniel, Angel, Michael and Andre. Waiting for her at the Door of Heaven was Abuelita Nico, Tia Cuchita and our mamachole Eloidita.
Family and friends are welcome to attend
