Aurora Acosta Rentar

The family of Aurora Acosta Rentar of San Jose, CA is saddened to announce her passing on July 19, 2024 at the age of 73, surrounded by her family. Aurora will be remembered by her beloved husband of 50 years, Renato Rentar, her four children Ronald, Melissa (Devin) Hui, Kristy (Enrico) Balancio and Amanda as well as her cherished fourteen grandchildren:

Aurora Lorenzo Acosta was born in Agbanawag, Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on July 29, 1950. She is the third of nine children from Atty. Laureano Baguio Acosta, Sr. and Romana Queddeng Lorenzo. She was preceded in death by her eldest brother, Atty. Melchor Acosta and younger sister, Lorna Fe Acosta Gambalan. She is survived by her sisters: Marietta, Minda Chito, Venus, Bilma, Imelda and brother, Laureano Jr. (Bong).

A celebration of Aurora’s life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a prayer from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park - Chapel of the Oaks, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose, CA.

An interment will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024. Mass will be held at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 5111 San Felipe Rd., San Jose, CA. Committal services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park at 12:00 pm.
