Barbara died December 19, 2012 after a 3-year battle with lung cancer. She was a native of San Jose and was born to parents Ottavio and Fanny Pieracci. Her parents were farmers in the Berryessa district of San Jose, and owned Bimbo’s restaurant off of Taylor street. Barbara is survived by her husband Gene Panattoni of 59 years and her children Mike Panattoni, Gina Ledwell, John Panattoni, and daughter-in-law Ana Panattoni. Barbara deeply loved all of her grandchildren, Tanya, Philip, Samanatha, Alex, Patrick, and Joey and would do anything for them. She is also survived by her brother Leroy Pieracci and sister-in-law Kathy. Babara will be sorely missed by everyone she touched in this life. May she finally rest in peace.Viewing will be Thurs.
