Beatriz Garcia Deaustria

She is survived by her son James (Imee), daughter Mary Jean (Zaldy), her beloved grandchildren Erik, Brandon, Jeanell, adopted grandson Ryan, and her sister Amy (Loy).

She was born on July 29, 1940 in Manila, Philippines. She married her husband Angelito in 1964. Together, they had and raised three children: James, Mary Jean, and Jojo. She later immigrated with her family to San Jose, California in 1973 in pursuit of the American Dream.

A devout Catholic and a loving mother and grandmother, she committed her life to her family. She provided constant and unwavering prayer, support, and love to her children and grandchildren. When not in prayer or cooking to feed her family, she enjoyed doing puzzles and word searches, watching Hallmark holiday movies, and, above all else, spending time and sharing meals with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by but is now reunited with her husband Angelito, her son Jojo, her parents Trifon and Lucia, her siblings Ernesto, Marcela, Gregorio, Glicerio, and her dog Kooky.

Visitation services will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel of the Oaks, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, on November 7, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be held from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and on November 8, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will take place at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel of the Oaks, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, on November 8, 2025 at 11:00am.”
