In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Derek, Trevor and Brittney and sister, Vicki. He is preceded in death by both parents, Terry and Edith and sister, Teri.
He had a passion for many sports teams including the Oakland Raiders, Golden State Warriors, San Jose Sharks and San Francisco Giants. During game time you could be sure you would know how his team was doing by the cheering or yelling that Bill was doing!
He enjoyed golfing, both on the course and in his own backyard. His hole in one was the pool’s hot tub! At times he did have to be cautious when taking his stroke since Walter, Trevor’s lovable dog, would be at his feet, ready to retrieve the Wiffle ball the minute it left his club.
He travelled with his family and friends on annual trips to South Lake Tahoe and Kauai. He adventured to new locations like St Thomas, Cancun, Texas, Oregon, Pennsylvania and New York to name a few. He found the best fish and chips he ever tasted in Ketchikan, Alaska.
He had a fondness for motor vehicles (aka things that can go fast). His most recent baby being his ‘67 Camaro. You could spot him cruising around on his 1970 Honda trail 70 taking it for a spin to the local 7-eleven or doing a little dog walking, without walking. He also enjoyed jet skiing, and off roading on three-wheelers and four-wheelers in his younger days.
Another one of Bill’s favorite things to do was to have a party and grill on his bar-b-que. He liked it best when he would cook for a crowd and end the night with a bang.
He shared his love of Labradors with his family. The family dog has always been a member of the Labrador family. The most recent addition is an abandoned chocolate Labrador named “Holly” from Hollister, CA adopted in May 2020.
Bill was a genuinely caring person. He always lended a hand whenever there was a fix-it project to be done and it was not a rare sight to see him at a party with a tool in his hand ready to start fixing something.
The day Bill arrived in heaven it got a little bit louder and a whole lot more fun.
