

He is survived by his father, Daniel Luera of Martinez, CA; his grandparents, Lee and Bonnie Vaughan of San Jose, CA; his brother; Anthoney Roe of Seaside, CA, his sister; Samantha Piascik and her wife, Tiffany, and their children, Ariana and Silas Piascik of Brookline, NH, his brother; Dylan Luera of Manchester, NH, and his brother; Donovan Kamakani of San Jose, CA. Brandon is also survived by his girlfriend, Selina Cornejo, of Pleasant Hill, CA, and uncles, aunts, cousins, and many other family members and friends.
Brandon was predeceased by his mother, Donna Marie Richardson-Kamakani; his paternal grandmother, Anna Fontana; and his paternal grandfather, Issac Luera.
He attended Lincoln High School, ultimately graduating from Liberty Alternative High School. At the time of Brandon’s death, he was a security account manager at John George Psychiatric Hospital. His boss described him as a hard worker who was doing a phenomenal job.
Many people that knew Brandon said he had one of the biggest hearts they have ever seen. Brandon was always there to lend a hand and would do anything for those he loved, especially his siblings. His loved ones could always count on him, no matter what. Brandon was extremely smart and had a lot of potential. He could fix anything.
Brandon was a lover of the outdoors, dogs, country music, and the San Francisco 49ers. Brandon truly had a gypsy soul and was a free spirit, just like his mother was. Brandon’s family hopes that he is resting peacefully in the arms of his mother and grandmother, and they are grateful for all the outpouring of love and support at this difficult time.
Brandon’s funeral service will be held at The Willow Glen Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
