Clara Lela Baxley, also known as Corky, was born on July 14, 1930 in San Gabriel, California. She moved to the San Jose area in 1941. She was the daughter of the late Velma Correll and Thomas Z. Goss, pre-deceased by sister Jean Garloff, her late son Steven Baxley, and her late husband Billy Junior Baxley. They were married for 48 years at the time of his death (married in 1948). She is survived by her son Jon Harold Baxley and wife Mary Baxley of Orlando, Florida; son Gregory Baxley of San Jose, California; and three grandsons Daniel Baxley, James Baxley, and Robert Baxley, all of which live in Colorado. Clara is also survived by her 6 great grandchildren. Clara and her family enjoyed many years in South Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Donner. She enjoyed many road trips with her husband Bill. She was an active member of Cambrian Park United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, Clara requested that contributions be made to the Cambrian United Methodist Church.
