Born on the beautiful island of Oʻahu in 1949, David moved to California for college, where he met his wife, Shirley. Married for 51 years, together they raised three children —Cindy, Wilfred, and Joseph—and welcomed into the family their spouses: Michael (who was married to Cindy and preceded David in passing), Amy (married to Wilfred), and Briana (married to Joseph). David was a proud grandfather to Amanda, Anthony, Brandon, Mina, and Gary, who lovingly called him Gung-Gung and YeYe and brought endless pride and happiness to his life.
David’s spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the memories we will forever cherish.
In his honor, services will be held on June 1, 2025 at 11:00am at the Campbell Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 600 W. Campbell Ave. Campbell CA 95008.
