Dino Dini

At the age of 89, Dino passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of San Jose, graduating from San Jose High School. He was a retired carpenter of Santa Clara County.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Dolores, children Claudia Rivera (Ron Lewis) and Dennis Dini (Kathy). He was “Papa” to grandchildren Dina Gusky, Jason Rivera (Heather), Dennis Dini, and Anny Bonar (Marcus), great-grandchildren Erica, Briana, Sabrina, Carissa, Rachel, Dalton, and Abby, great-great grandchildren Matthew, Gabriella and Isabella. He was also a father to “#2” Ronda Del Conte and “#3” Marsha Kramer.

He is preceded in death by parents Dominic and Anita, brothers Victor and Nello Dini and sister Lena Battistella.

Dino was a loving and loyal family man, and as an Elks member, loved to play cards and bowl. He was an avid Warriors, Giants and 49ers fan.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7 p.m. with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel of Roses, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA. Funeral Service will be held at Chapel of Roses on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
