Eileen F. Griffin

Eileen Conroy Griffin, Resident of San Jose, Ca. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away March 28, 2011 at the age of 84 after a short battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Griffin, and her seven children, Maureen Ricketts, Kathy Dorsa (Keith), Thomas Griffin Jr. (Michele), Sheila Whiteman (Norm), Ellie Powers (Mark), Terry Griffin (Michelle) and Timothy Griffin. Cherished grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 1. She was born in San Francisco and was a resident of San Jose for 54 years.

She was a dedicated and active member of the Legion of Mary for the past 30 years. Always active in her children's education, she was a former member of the St. Christopher's Ladies Guild, Bellarmine Mothers' Guild and the Presentation High Parent Board. She was a supporter of many Catholic causes and organizations.

Friend and family are invited to attend a visitation form 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. On Thursday, April 7th, there will be a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 2278 Booksin Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, followed by a Burial Service at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos, CA 94024.
