Evelina Carabio Macaspac, age 86, of San Jose, California died on January 24, 2026 at Regional Medical Center, San Jose.
She was born on June 29, 1939 in the city of Manila, Philippines to Anastacio Flores Carabio Sr. and Constancia Puntod Carabio. Her childhood name was Belen. She attended Philippine Women’s College in Manila Philippines majoring in Liberal Arts before going to work as a Biomedical Assembler/Technician in the city of San Jose, California.
Evelina was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo V. Macaspac, former husband Adolfo E. Banados, her parents Constancia P. Carabio and Anastacio F. Carabio Sr, brother Anastacio P. Carabio Jr, her eldest son Marcelino C. Banados, her eldest daughter Maria C. Banados, her younger son Jaime C. Banados.
She is survived by her sons Carmelo C. Banados, Rizalino C. Banados, Rolando C. Banados, Danilo C. Banados and daughter Gwendolyn M. Capistrano.
A visitation will be held on Friday February 13, 2026, from 9:00am to 6:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel of Roses, located at 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, California. A prayer service will follow on the same day February 13, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the same location.
