

Herb was born in San Jose, California on April 27, 1942 to Shirley Cuevas and Herbert L. Santiago Sr. Herb was survived by his two brothers David D. Santiago and Marvin Santiago Sr. Herb was married to Rosie Santiago for 12 years and had 3 beautiful children, Lawrence Salinas Santiago, Elizabeth Santiago and Rosanna Madrid. Herb has 6 grandkids Anthony L. Santiago, David L. Santiago, Michael A. Santiago, Thomas G. Madrid IV, Adelia M. Madrid, Diego G. Madrid and a great grandchild, Jovi Madrid. Herb was a native of San Jose, California where he lived near his beloved family. He was employed by Varian Medical Devices as a Quality Inspector for most of his professional career. Herb was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 7 years where he visited numerous places around the world. Herb always loved to spend time with family and friends and never missed the opportunity to listen to his favorite Mexican music, go dancing or enjoy a camping trip with family. Herb was always sure to remind you that he was your favorite Cousin or Uncle. Herb enjoyed traveling with his family never missing an invite to visit Reno, Vegas or his favorite local casino. Herb never missed a San Francisco 49ers football game on TV or passed up the opportunity to have a good time. Later in life Herb moved to Lemoore, California. You would often find Herb sitting in his recliner wearing his Navy Veterans ball cap, watching his favorite program on TV with a smile on his face, always in the company of someone who loved him.
