Irma Martinez

A beloved resident of Santa Clara County since 1960, Irma built a life rooted in hard work, laughter, and love. She was employed at Future Electronics in Milpitas, California, for over 30 years before retiring in 2020. Even in retirement, Irma’s vibrant spirit led her to her favorite “second job”, spending joyful hours at the casinos, where she found fun and friendship.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband, David Martinez Jr., who passed away on March 21, 1993. She is survived by her loving partner, Jaime Arana, and her cherished children:

— Maria “Maggie” Souza and her husband Richard Souza, and their children Brianna Souza and Richard Souza Jr.

— Ricardo “Ricky” Martinez and his wife Veronica Martinez, and their children Marissa Martinez and Gabriella Martinez

She is also survived by her brothers Armando Carbajal and Rosendo Carbajal (wife Kathy Carbajal), Carissa Baltezore and family and Yvonne Villanueva and family as well as extended family members Sandra Arana and Alondra Arana, who held a special place in her heart.

Irma will be remembered for her generous heart, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family and friends.
