My condolences to the Burch side of my family. My name is Emmanuel Ramon Deanda. Son of recently deceased Barbara Joyce Deanda (Burch). I am sending love and light to the family of the departed. May God grant you peace of mind and heart in this difficult time.

My name is Emmanuel Deanda, Son of Barbara Joyce Burch, Nephew of Luther Burch, both from the city of Pittsburgh. I never met James Burch but he was family and I want to send my love and prayers to the family in this difficult time.

You will be missed on this Earth, Jim but you are amongst great company with the Angels in Heaven!  I am sure you are there with them.  You definitely earned your wings.  You were a very compassionate and kind person.  David and I always appreciated all the support and help you provided to us over the past 30+ years and to the whole neighborhood.  Thank you for showing all of us what a compassionate, loving and kind human being should be like.  Until we see each other again on the other side of the rainbow.

I will always consider myself incredibly blessed to have landed just a few doors down from you and Sammie. I will forever treasure our front-lawn conversations—those simple moments in the lawn chairs where you so generously shared your stories, wisdom, and warmth. Visiting with you and Sammie became some of my most cherished memories in this neighborhood.

Your home was a true haven—welcoming, loving, and filled with the kind of kindness that leaves a lasting impression. You touched the lives of so many, simply by being you. I can only hope to carry forward a fraction of the compassion and grace you showed throughout your life.

Your passing has left a deep sadness in our hearts, but your legacy will continue to live on in the lives you impacted. Rest peacefully in heaven, surrounded by God’s wisdom and love. And please—give a big hello to Cedric for me.

Dearest Jim,
I have known you for a long, long time, about 50 years! You were one-of-a-kind that's for sure! Always there to help anyone in 'need', always smiling and always with a full heart!  I won't forget you and Sammie and you both will always be a reminder of the 'Good' in people! I will remember all the good times, all the wonderful times we talked about everything going on in this world of ours, all the advice you gave and all the time and effort you put in to be with my girls, always there for us. My heart will always have a spot for you. RIP my dear dear friend.

Jim, the most wonderful, patient kind-hearted man. I met Jim as my neighbor over 50 years ago, he was soo knowledgeable with cars and always willing to lend a helping hand.  I will miss sitting in the yard talking to him.  He was a great man and will be dearly missed ❤️
